4th SRI LANKA INTERNATIONAL CONCLAVE. 11th September 2015 – Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka’s economy continued to grow robustly in 2014. The outlook was for a continued strong economic performance aided by generally favorable global conditions. In line with the government’s policy, efforts were intensified to attract investments to target sectors in which Sri Lanka has strong foundation for growth as well as areas where it is nationally important to develop. Infrastructure Projects is one of the Target Sectors actively Promoted by Sri Lanka. Growth of private sector credit for construction purposes has increased significantly, which reflects the increased involvement of private sector in the construction industry. The conference agenda was focusing upon the challenges and the essentials of planning, delivering and controlling the activities involved in the construction of a building; most importantly bridging the gap between the builders, architects and engineers.

ADVANCES IN BUILDING MATERIAL & HIGH PERFORMANCE FAÇADES FOR HIGH RISE BUILDINGS. 22nd November 2016 – Cinnamon Grand, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The main focus of the conference was on the Ultra long service life of structures with innovative building material, reducing the footprint by upgrading existing structural building Material. Topics like sustainable construction materials and multifunctional energy – efficient building envelopes, Forensic structural engineering, Structural safety and risk assessment of structures were also the highlights of the conference.

BUILDING SPECIFIERS CONFERENCE

The Building Specifiers conference is a series of international conferences which highlight the role and importance of Building Specifications and all the subjects related to standards in a building, related to the material or its application. The 1st Edition of the building specifiers conference received an overwhelming response in Colombo which enlightened the audience on the importance of building specification & standards. The 2nd edition of Building specifiers conference deliberated discussions on Building specifications with reference to High Rise Buildings and focusing on Aluminium, Glass, Facades & Coatings. The 3rd edition held in November 2017 focused on Interiors & Exteriors and covered a wide spectrum of subjects.

ILFS was a conference which discussed about the Innovative Technologies in Industrialization of Building Construction, Modern Structural Systems, Innovations in Design of Special Structures. Also there was a highlight on Application of composites and nanomaterials in Civil Engineering, Use of modern materials in Green building, Application of Modern materials & Techniques for insulation and Efficient Energy Consumption.

FUTURE BUILD : UNBOXING THE FUTURE OF CONSTRUCTION. 7th September 2018 – BMICH, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The conference came out to be a huge success as the speakers from Countries like India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan and few more countries came in numbers to share their views on the Future of the Building & Construction. It was altogether a SAARC Summit.
